Hikvision ColorVu. Full Colour Images - Day or Night
Traditional cameras switch to black and white operation in low light and employ infra red illumination to enable night time visibility. Hikvision ColorVu on the other hand provide colour images 24/7. This is made possible by a larger more sensitive image sensor and a super wide aperture, that allows more of the available light to reach that image sensor. In total darkness ColorVu cameras feature an adjustable soft white LED illuminator.
Hikvision AcuSense - Prevent Unwanted Alerts
CCTV cameras and systems have been available with motion detection for a number of years. Unfortunately standard motion detection and analytics are plagued by unwanted alerts caused by anything moving in the scene including leaves, shadows, or car headlights. Hikvision AcuSense cameras allow events to be filtered to only trigger when a Human or Vehicle is detected in the scene. AcuSense technology keeps false alerts to a minimum.
Live Guard Active Deterrent
Hikvision AcuSense IP cameras are available with two way audio and strobe light. After an event is detected, the system can:
- Flash a strobe light
- Sound a siren/play an audible message
- Push an event to the users smartphone
- Enable the user to start 2-way audio with the camera (listen in/talk back)
Alarms can be scheduled or armed/disarmed with a single click from the Hik-Connect app.
Remote Viewing and Notifications with Hik-Connect
Hik-Connect from Hikvision is a free app for your iOS or Android phone/tablet. It allows you to view your cameras live and recorded video from anywhere in the world, so long as you have access to WiFi or mobile data. Cameras featuring microphones allow you to listen as well as view what's going on; while those with 2-way audio allow you to sound an alert or talk back through the camera.
Using the complimentary Hik-Connect service, enables receipt of push notifications of alarm events from your system, sending an image of the event trigger to your device along with a short video clip of the event.
